Kosovo village is very close to the main road from Plovdiv to Smolyan, 30 km southwest of the town. It is situated on the steep slopes of the Rhodope ridge Chernatitza the ridge on which the Roman road from Moesia to the Mediterranean. The village is a real archeological finds 63 cultural monuments, including 5 - of national importance.
The old rural houses, made of natural materials – stone, earth, wood and lime, are 150, 200 or more years old. In 2004, we began the restoration of the most emblematic houses in the village of Kosovo. Experts in reviving famous Rhodopean cultural monuments work in the Kosovo Houses complex.
