The house was built 1860 from Staiko Todorov Dedev,who was cattle-drover and wealthy merchant. His wife Petra Dedeva was the chairwoman of the first Women’s union in Panaguyrishte. Staiko and his wife have three daughters. Penka Petrova Dedeva married Petyr Djudjev, who then repurchased the house from the other three sisters and became an owner of the house around the year of 1910.Petyr Djudjev came from a wealthy and an educated family. He went to school in Sorbonne (La Sorbonne) in Paris, and was the first person to install electricty in Panaguyrishte when it was installed in Hotel Djudjevakyshta. After communism in Bulgaria, the house was given back to its owners. During the year of 2007 the house was purchased by Maria and Ivan Petrishki and restored into Guest house Djudjeva kyshta.The Hotel’s restaurant is designed in traditional style and offers seating for 30 people inside and 40 outside, which are nicely hid from the sun under the balcony of the plevnq.In the restaurant they offer traditional dishes for Panagurishte. And the hotel’s gardens give you the opportunity to enjoy your vacation surrounded by centuries old trees,rose flower beds and herb and vegetable garden. All rooms and apartments in the guest house glow with their cozy interior in the traditional for Panagyurishte old style - rooms are decorated with handcrafted wood furniture.The house offers accommodation in the form of six double rooms and two apartments. Here you can findbicycles for cycling to Centre, Koprivshtitza , Panagyurski columns. There are marked hiking trails to Belo Kamene, Starossel. In the courtyard you can buy artefacts from the past, hand embroidered shirts , knit socks and other souvenirs made from the locals . The guests can walk to the city with a local guide. The house has an installation for hot water, warmed by the sun, which is for the major part of the need for hot water in the warm season . The house is very well insulated and that’s why there is no need for air conditioning in summer. Energy-saving appliances provide reduction of electricity consumed. Vegetables are supplied by the exchange in Chernogorovo from selected farmers. Suppliers of dairy and meat products are also selected . A relative of the family is raising sheep and from them they made sheep cheese.
